Since Helen Yunker played a primary role in the incorporation of the Pierpont Beach area into the City of Ventura in the 1960's the name has been synonymous with real estate in the beach and marina areas. In 1986 after being friends for 10 years, Helen and Marty Harder formed a partnership in her little building at the corner of Seaward Ave. and Pierpont Blvd. In 1992 Marty Harder became the sole proprietor of the company and continued to establish Helen Yunker Realty as a dominant real estate firm in the Ventura Beach and Marina areas. During that time market share has steadily grown due to the professional personalized service that our company offers to its clients. Through the upswings and downturns of the real estate market, Marty continued to successfully operate Helen Yunker Realty and expand the company's market share to the rest of Western Ventura County.
In 2008, Marty brought Jim Wick and Tom Jina on board as partners. Both of whom share Marty's philosophies of having professional personalized service and intimate knowledge of our unique market.
Jim Wick is a longtime Broker and Associate of Helen Yunker Realty. He brings over 25 years of personal experience and knowledge to the company. So his coming on as the Managing Broker, dealing with day to day operations was a natural move.
With the intent of keeping Helen Yunker Realty in the forefront of technology Tom Jina joined in as a partner, with over 8 years of experience as a Realtor and Broker. His enthusiasm for technology and the Internet will continue to ensure that Helen Yunker Realty uses the latest technology, and information systems to better serve our clients.
